Knox College students, faculty, and staff engage in an active partnership with the Galesburg community. Programs like KnoxCorps put students and recent graduates in service to the local area. Students also participate in long- and short-term volunteer opportunities coordinated by the Mark and Jeannette Kleine Center for Community Service.

Knox students explore and experience the larger world through programs provided by the Eleanor Stellyes Center for Global Studies. Many students enhance their education through hands-on experience in internships, job shadows, and volunteering.

Knox's diverse campus of students from around the world offers a rich cultural, spiritual, and intellectual environment. Students participate in a variety of student clubs and cultural and educational centers. Additionally, Knox offers a rich variety of arts and cultural programming for both the campus and the wider community.
