Welcome to the Resource Page for Faculty Affairs.
This page provides resources and information for faculty and staff in Academic Affairs related to their professional development and life at the college. Here, you will find links to resources to support your teaching, research, service, and other work on campus and beyond.
Before you begin using these links, I encourage you to visit our
page to get to know the people behind the Office. On the other hand, if you would like to visit the Associate Dean in person, he would love to sit and chat with you, either in his office in Old Main 105 or wherever is convenient for you. (Aruba sounds good. 🏖️)
For information about past or upcoming Knox professional development events.
For financial and other support of your professional work, whether research, creative endeavors, pedagogy, or engaged practice.
🧑🏫 Teaching Commons
For help with classroom-related issues.
For information about working with Knox's administration or how to get involved with other sorts of professional service.
🗓️ Academic Schedule for program reviews
More to come...
Note that program assessment is not under the purview of Faculty Affairs. Assessment is overseen by three groups: The Associate Dean for Curriculum and Assessment, the Office of Institutional Research, and the Assessment Subcommittee of the Curriculum Committee. Faculty Affairs joins in to offer support (and food) as needed.
For information about assessing your academic program, rather as part of regular ongoing assessment activities or part of a program review.
