There are many international summer academic course-based programs available, in a wide variety of disciplines and in many locations. We provide a sampling here, but please explore widely (and let us know about good summer programs you find). In addition to the program provider web pages listed below, you may wish to begin your search by browsing the aggregator webpages www.goabroad.com and www.gooverseas.com - both offer searchable databases of international options: you may choose the mode of engagement (study, volunteerism, internships, teaching English, and more) or the region or country in which you are interested. Just indicate in the search portal that you are looking for *summer* programs.
You do not go through the Knox studyabroad.knox.edu application portal for summer programs. These opportunities are available to you just as summer courses at other colleges and universities are available. You will want to apply directly, and work closely with your faculty advisor(s) and with the Registrar as you apply for the transfer of credit to Knox and particularly as you seek courses that will transfer for credit within a particular major or minor.
