Bold Ventures

Whether it be founding a College in 1837 open to all, becoming the first African American to serve in Congress, writing one of the nation's first syndicated columns, helping create BASIC, or launching a satellite into space, Knox's founders, faculty, and alumni have ventured boldly for more than 180 years.

Their legacy continues today.
