What inspired you to pursue veterinary sciences?
I have wanted to be a vet for as long as I can remember. My dad sparked my interest in medicine at a young age, and my love for animals led me to choose this career path. I couldn't be more excited to start this new journey.
How did your Knox experience influence where you are today?
I truly believe that my well-rounded education at Knox allowed me to develop the skills I will use in veterinary school every day. There are so many experiences that greatly influenced me during my time at Knox, including being a member of Delta Delta Delta and a part of the cross country and track and field teams.
Tell us about a memorable experience that had an impact on you.
One of my favorite memories was our marine biology trip to Belize. Professor Linda Dybas organized an amazing trip, one where I made friends with people I will never forget.
What surprised you the most about your Knox experience?
Knox is truly a place that takes you by surprise. I never expected to fall in love with Knox, the faculty, staff, and students, or even places as iconic as the Gizmo, but I definitely did. Knox is a life changing place and will always have a piece of my heart.
Caitlin was also a part of Best Buddies, Chordially Yours acapella group, and honor societies Mortar Board and Order of Omega during her time at Knox.
