Describe your Knox experience.

We never would have guessed that studying in Galesburg, a small town in rural Illinois, would open our eyes to a whole new world. We met people from all over the country and the globe, and we learned that we all view the world differently because of our diverse experiences. The liberal arts education we received at Knox is by far the most important education that we've received. It taught us to analyze situations, to actively read and write, and to communicate effectively -- all skills that you carry forward, no matter what you choose to do with your life or career.

Why do you give to Knox?

Our belief in the value of the education we received at Knox is why we give back to our alma mater. We give because of our appreciation for the opportunities we had at Knox and because of the people it helped us become. We give because we want to make sure today's Knox students have the opportunity to be in an environment where professors care, the staff cares, and where everyone is committed to giving students the best education possible.

We frequently talk to fellow alumni about supporting Knox, and we've realized that no matter how good or bad your college experience was, Knox helped make you who you are today. Giving to Knox is a way to show appreciation for that fact and for the friends or professors or one person who connected with you during your time on campus. You don't have to give a lot to make a big difference. We give what we can, and that's what's most important.
