Can you cite an example of how your in-classroom and/or out-of-the-classroom experiences at Knox have benefited you in your career?

One thing Knox has really taught me is how to ask questions and keep asking them until I have a better understanding of what I'm doing and what I still need to do.

How did your internship with Amazon benefit you in terms of your career plans and personal development?

It's one thing to study computer science in a classroom, but it has been really helpful to see a little more of what it is like to be a software engineer in a large tech company. In some ways, it's harder since not only am I programming a tool that could be in use for a while -- not just something that needs to last for a grade -- but I'm also trying to figure out Amazon's tools and procedures while trying to remember everything I've learned in the past three years. At the same time, I've got a manager, mentor, and team members who have been incredibly helpful and understanding when I get stuck or need a little help.
