During the summer, students apply to either a 4 or 6 week track, each with a corresponding number of required work hours. Richter grants are awarded with project expenses paid first (i.e. items required to complete the project) and then any remainder is awarded as a stipend.
During the winter break, students apply to either a 3 or 5 week track, each with a corresponding number of required work hours. Richter grants are awarded as such: project expenses are paid first (i.e. items required to complete the project) and then the remainder is awarded as a stipend.
