Whether you’re a presenter, attendee, or faculty moderator, see below for what to expect on the day of the event!
HORIZONS 2024 has three components: an opening reception, the poster session, and oral presentation concurrent sessions.
The reception will begin at 4:00pm. Enjoy appetizers and drinks on the second and third floor of Alumni Hall.
The poster session will be held in the Trustees Room (Alumni Hall 300) and throughout the third floor of Alumni Hall from 4:45-6:00pm. Stop by and view the posters, ask the presenters questions, and enjoy!
The oral presentations will be held across Alumni Hall, as well as many buildings across campus, throughout two sessions from 5:30-7:45pm. Use the program to see which presentations will be offered, at what times, and in what room (the program will be posted a few days before the event)
For Presenters: Arrival Time
All presenters are encouraged to check out other students’ presentations and posters after your session ends.
For a more detailed look of the event, check out the program here.
Student presenters should dress in business casual attire. If you need assistance with that, the Knox College Career Closet is a great resource! For poster presenters, please also wear comfortable shoes, as you will be standing for an hour at your poster.
