Current Advising Timeline
This is the current timeline for advising. As time passes, expect this calendar to change a bit. All significant changes will be communicated to the ATT team. The calendar was last updated on January 10, 2025.
February:
Transfer advising begins
Late April: ATT-Team training on the new advising system.
May 1 – June 1: Students must complete Math, Music, and Language Placement examinations
June 10: Advising Schedules Established for all New Students
Early- and Mid-June: Pre-Professional and Group Pre-Advising Sessions will be available to new students
June 18 – July 2: New Student Pre-enrollment with Core Team Members
July 6 – 10 (approx.): “Traditional” Closeout Process for New Student Registration
July 14: Start of “Go-Dark” Period; Registrar data unavailable
July 21: “Go-Live” Date (anticipated); J1 interface launches for all advisors
August 1: New Student Class Schedules Reported
September 2 and beyond: All Faculty J1 Training Begins
September 9: New Student Campus Arrival
September 15: First Day of Fall Classes
September (throughout): Transition to "regular" Academic Advisors
October: Standard Pre-enrollment in New SIS for All Students
