The Department of Campus Safety, located in the Administrative Service Center (ASC) Building at 368 S. Prairie Street, provides service to the campus on a 24-hour, seven day per week schedule. The department remains dedicated to developing and maintaining a safe and secure campus through the individual efforts of each officer and in cooperation with the other campus departments and community organizations.
Campus Safety understands the academic mission of the College and seeks to remain a vital part of that mission. A sincere concern for the community's well being, quality of academic life, a desire to provide the best service and assistance where possible, and an ongoing desire to support the academic efforts of the Knox students, faculty, and staff are a critical part of our department's daily operations and philosophy.
As part of the College's commitment to campus safety and security, the Knox College Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is published in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime and Statistics Act (Clery Act), the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA).
