A raccoon crossed the sidewalk in front of me to climb a tree. Very polite, though not a chatty guy.

I pressure-washed four tillages, five tractors, and a few other pieces of equipment this summer. I got muddy, but I only fell once, it was great.

What is your favorite thing about being a tutor?
My favorite thing about being a tutor is being able to concretely help someone, whether that's guiding them to the right Latin translations or helping them solidify a thesis statement. It is rewarding to know that I have alleviated someone else's stress.

I am the outgoing treasurer/incoming secretary of Book Club. I play the flute in flute choir and am part of the Piano Chamber Ensemble. I also go to String Arts Club whenever I can.

I have 10 guinea pigs and a dog. The 10 guinea pigs are what happens when you rescue three "female" guinea pigs, and only one is female... Oops!

I've been learning Spanish since I was 4 years old (still not great at it) I was an extra in an episode of Chicago Med I have never been stung by a bee/wasp or anything like that I like rodents (hence the guinea pigs thing) I've been told I have very "interesting" small talk starters

I'm the President of Classics Club (alternatively one of the Consuls), I'm heavily involved in running Book House, I'm the Non-Fiction editor for Catch, and I handle PR and some secretarial things for Cellar Door.

In my free time I like to read (especially fantasy, mystery, and books based off Greek/Roman mythology), crochet, knit, do logic puzzles, bake, and write postcards to my friends and family.

My favorite restaurant in Galesburg is Koreana.

I don't currently have any pets but I am definitely a cat person and I haven't met a cat that disliked me.
What do you do to relax?
When I need to relax I tend to either make myself a cup of tea or hot chocolate and settle down for a few hours with a good book or I spend a few hours in the kitchen with earbuds in and a recipe that takes some concentration to make perfectly.

Some of my favorite memories at Knox come from taking walks around campus with one of my friends. Knox feels like a completely different place at night--it's so peaceful!

I like to climb on things and sit in windowsills. I also work at a bookshop in my hometown--Skylark Bookshop--and, no, it isn't technically named after me!

My favorite thing about being a tutor is that I get to help others and also see how they progress. Seeing where they started and had struggles and then seeing how much they progress as the year goes on.

I was involved with Sigma Nu Fraternity, but that ship has since sailed. I am now involved in several small chamber choirs.

I don't have any pets with me on campus but, that might change. At home, I have an old cat named Chumlee who I've had since the age of four and, a chihuahua named Pickles who I've had since the 8th grade. I love my cat Chumlee very very much because he is sweet and a goofball.

When I am stressed, I prefer to relax by reading a book or talking to friends.

I have so many but honestly any Flunk Day has been my favorite memory.

Well, I crochet and I learned how to crochet interesting or odd bees. By this I mean they usually have more than two eyes. Crocheting these little creatures allows me to relax and feel at peace. I also was a summer camp counselor at a camp that has a strong focus on those who are differently abled (physically, mentally, behaviorally, etc). It was a wonderful job and I enjoyed it!

Last Winter and Spring terms I was an editorial intern at an online fantasy fiction publication and it was so fun! I got to publish a couple flash fiction pieces for them. Also I can wiggle my ears!
