I have an old dog named Bootsie. She is a half-black lab, half mystery, but we suspect she has a German shepherd and husky in her. She is very sweet whenever she is not thieving fish off the counter.

Certain formulae, questions, and equations initially look intimidating; but being a tutor allows me to see people realize how intuitive some scary-looking mathematical concepts are. I know I've done enough as a tutor when I hear someone go, "That's it? That's all I had to do?"
