What is your favorite thing about being a tutor?
My favorite part about tutoring is getting more opportunities to engage with a subject I enjoy, and sharing my enjoyment of the subject with others. I understand not everyone has the same excitement about the materials as I do, but I hope to help them understand the content in a way that is easy for them to remember and helps them maybe hate the subject less.

Orange.

My room.

The bench across from the soccer field.
Are you involved in any campus organizations?
I'm in 3 bands (Chicxulub, S.M.I.L.F. and a jazz combo), I'm also one of the chemistry club demonstration chairs. I also participate in IVCF.
What are your hobbies?
I play guitar, enjoy playing video games, and playing with the Knox Ultimate Frisbee team.
What do you do to relax?
I like to sit down in a comfy chair and watch some anime, or play guitar, or text my girlfriend.
Tell us about your favorite Knox memory.
One day one of my friends sent me a pic from the big timeline in the Red Room; they found my name (Lubbs) under one of the pics. Turns out its my dad watching a solar eclipse in 1997.

I can whistle pretty decently with my hands, or just my mouth.

What is your favorite thing about being a tutor?
Helping others feel rewarding. It gives positive impact on students' lives by helping them understand difficult concepts, improve their skills, and achieve their academic or personal goals.

What are your hobbies?
I love hiking, skiing and spending time in nature. I try to stay active.
What do you do to relax?
Sleep is the best way to relax for me. Watching favorite TV shows while eating my favorite meals.

Last summer break when I stayed with my friends & became closer.

What is your favorite thing about being a tutor?
What I love most about being a tutor is seeing in real time the wave of understanding that hits people when a concept finally clicks for them. The long sigh and the surprised facial expression is very satisfying as it makes me feel better knowing I could walk them through what they didn't get before.

The study rooms in SMC library

The bench opposite the football field, it's a great place to sit and think.

I am a member of the Knox College Choir, I'm in Student Senate, I'm also a member of Pre-health Club and I'm in charge of public relations of Harambee
What are your hobbies?
I love to sing, dance, write, read and make spontaneous plans with friends.

Baked, the pizza is really good.
What do you do to relax?
A long shower, followed up with listening to music and dancing or watching a movie helps me relax.

My favorite Knox memory was watching the stars on the football field with friends.

Something that makes me unique is my ability to empathize. That might not seem like something unique but it took coming to college in America that made me realize a lot of people actually don't have empathy.

I love being able to connect with other people interested in chemistry and helping my peers expand their knowledge.

I have a teacup Maltipoo named Hyde. She is the cutest little thing with very fluffy brown fur. I also have a female Rottweiler named Star she loves to run around and play.
