Knox students in the New York Studio School. Building on a relationship that dates back nearly two decades and forged initially between Knox faculty and noted artist Mercedes Matter, Knox in New York provides students the opportunity to work for several days at the New York Studio School. After students return to the Knox campus, they complete bodies of work based on their experiences in New York.
Knox in New York includes networking sessions with alumni -- successful, working artists familiar with art careers and the art market. Above, students visit the Brooklyn studio of Katie Bell, a 2008 Knox graduate recently selected by art book publisher Thames and Hudson as one of "100 Artists of Tomorrow."
Options include visits to notable destinations, such as the Strand Book Store.
