How did you get into the student development field? What interests you most about it?
I have always been passionate about knowing students holistically and helping them become the best versions of themselves. This holistic approach is what makes student development so meaningful to me. Over the years, I’ve served in roles such as director of academic support services and dean of college and career readiness.
What are your goals and aspirations for this position?
I aim to foster a strong sense of belonging and student success within the Knox student body. Right now, I’m focusing on achieving this through collaboration across campus particularly within the first-year experience and beyond. And working closely with faculty will also be a key focus.
What interests you most about Knox? What drew you to come here?
As a product of a liberal arts education myself, I was drawn to Knox College because of my love for the small liberal arts college experience. The opportunity to engage deeply with students and help them thrive in a supportive, close-knit environment was compelling.
What are you looking forward to most in your first year at Knox?
I am excited to build a stronger sense of belonging and foster student success through collaboration, equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts. I look forward to collaborating with various departments and ensuring that every student feels seen, heard, and valued at the College.
