Piggy banks were used to distribute schedules of events, and made from recycled plastic and denim. The decorations were brand new today, made by students.

At left in the background is Elvis impersonator Rick Dunham who, coincidentally, works at the Lincoln Museum in Springfield, Illinois, and recently filled the role of Stephen Douglas in a forthcoming film.

Behind the pitching of Frank McAndrew, psychology, the faculty team won the annual Faculty-Student Softball Game, 4-3. The annual Flunk Day Golf Outing was won by the team of Mike Godsil, art, and Ed Niehus, English; with a 2-under-par score of 69. Other participants were Joe Diviney, Bob Seibert, Vicki Romano and David Amor.
