Handshake

The Bastian Family Center For Career Success helps students apply for on-campus student employment; gain valuable experience; explore and choose careers; and connect with alumni, employers, and graduate programs.

We manage all opportunities through our Career Success platform Handshake. You will receive an email when your account is ready. Log into your My.Knox portal at https://www.knox.edu/myknox and choose Handshake from the Knox Apps in the left column. Use your Knox email and password to log into Handshake. Learn how to set up your Handshake account (PDF).

Three Other Quick Things To Do:

1. Create your initial Knox resume draft.
   Follow the format of our First-Year Student Resume Sample (PDF) and submit via Handshake. You will definitely need a well-crafted resume to apply for campus employment, network with alumni, and compete for internships.
2. Complete FOCUS2. 
   With FOCUS2, you can begin the career exploration process based on your interests, skills, experiences, and personality. In Handshake go to Career Center > Resources > FOCUS2.
3. Follow us!
