Welcome to the Knox Community
We look forward to your arrival this fall! The New Student Orientation program is designed to welcome you to campus and introduce you to the larger Knox community as a whole. Not only will you get to know your classmates, you'll also meet faculty and staff, learn how to navigate the campus, understand how learning happens at Knox, and explore Galesburg, Illinois.
New Students who are not already on campus for athletics or other programs should plan to arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Check-in and Residence Hall key pick-up will be in the Ford Center for Fine Arts, 500 South Prairie Street, Galesburg, Illinois 61401.
On September 7th there will be time to move into your residence hall room and start to settle in. There will be opportunities for students and families to meet with staff from various offices in the morning. Lunch will be available for $11 for non-students (no cash accepted) in the Hard Knox Cafe. After the Welcome at 3:30 PM there will be time for good-byes before the students will begin their journey with their Orientation Leaders and Family and Friends are invited to the President’s home.
