2020 Alumni Achievement Award recipient Denise Roza ’83 received the Aurora Award for her work with people in Russia who are living with cerebral palsy. Since 1997, she has served as executive director of Perspektiva, the Regional Society of Disabled People.  

Guy Goodman ’92 has been named the first vice president of academic and student services at Erie County Community College in Pennsylvania. He previously was dean of student enrollment services at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona.

Laurie J. Dittman ’79 was named a finalist for the Kathy Osterman Award for Outstanding Leader. The award celebrates and recognizes public service employees who have shown exemplary work ethics, integrity, innovation, teamwork, mentorship, and compassion. She currently serves as a senior policy analyst for the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) in Chicago.  

Todd Monken ’89, offensive coordinator for the University of Georgia football team, helped guide the Bulldogs to the College Football National Championship when they defeated the University of Alabama on January 10. A few days earlier, the Bulldogs won the Orange Bowl by defeating the University of Michigan. Monken, a former Knox quarterback, was inducted into the Knox-Lombard Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998.

The running backs coach for the Oklahoma State University football team, John Wozniak ’99, helped coach the Cowboys to a come-from-behind victory over the University of Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl on January 1. Wozniak played quarterback and wide receiver for Knox when he was a student. 

Causeartist has named Hardika Shah ’92, founder and CEO of Kinara Capital, as one of the “40 Social Entrepreneurs to Watch for in 2022.” Her company brings economic opportunities to small businesses in India with an innovative approach.
