We can’t wait to celebrate #KnoxProud Day and Founders Day, and we're so thrilled you want to be part of the fun!
As a cheerleader for Knox, we’re asking you to use your voice and social media to amplify our reach and encourage your fellow alumni, parents, and friends to give back and support our Knox community. This year, our goal is 1837 donors in 1837 minutes!
Below are some quick FAQs about what to expect and how you can help make the day a success. More information and a Volunteer Took Kit will be provided soon.
This event does not happen without our awesome volunteers, so thank you for volunteering to help our students!

Volunteer FAQs
What do I do? Spread the word and share the campaign with your peers, classmates, and Knox College network. It's as easy as posting on social media, sending out an email or two, texting your friends, or making some phone calls, encouraging your community to give back.
How much time should I spend? As much as you'd like! Two hours? 20 minutes? All day?! It's up to you.
Where do I need to be? The best thing about volunteering for #KnoxProud Day is that it can happen absolutely anywhere—from home, your office, and everywhere in between.
What’s in it for me? You’ll be able to track the impact you’re having, and celebrate the clicks, dollars, and donors that you generate for Knox. Plus, all volunteers will recieve some sweet Knox swag!
Why are we doing this? Every dollar raised directly impacts our students. Since its founding, Knox has embraced its values as an educational institution that believes deeply in the potential of every human being to learn, grow, and contribute to the greater good of the community. Knox continues to live its values and vision through our commitment to increasing access to all students. By helping spread the word about #KnoxProud Day, you’re generating support for world-class faculty, expanded curriculum, immersive learning opportunities, athletic teams and facilities, student support staff, and campus infrastructure.
How can I prepare? If you’re still feeling a bit unprepared, don’t sweat it. Join us for a brief training via Zoom on Thursday, February 8th at 12pm CST. (Don't worry if you can't make the training—it will be recorded for you to view at a later time). Email Stephanie McMillan for the Zoom link. Bring your questions and your excitement!
