Your first week of classes at Knox is right around the corner.
On Monday, September 9, you’ll take the first step of your on-campus Knox journey. =
Review the 2024-25 academic calendar to see all major dates along the course of your first year on campus.
- Classes meet, on average, between three and five hours per week
- Labs are an additional two to four hours per week
- Expect to devote at least two hours per hour of class each week to work outside of class, completing readings, writing essays or reports, and developing or rehearsing presentations or creative work.
If you find your classes aren’t a good fit, there is an add-drop period that lasts the first week of the term. After that first week, you would have to withdraw from a course, which means that you wouldn't get credit for that course.
You can always schedule a meeting with your academic advisor to discuss your schedule and academic plan for your time at Knox. You can also reach out to the Office of Academic Affairs to receive assistance for your specific program.
For all of your questions regarding your academic life at Knox, we recommend heading to this page and referring to our extensive FAQ. We’re excited to see you on campus!
