Along your new student journey, there’s a good chance you’ve come across a 6-foot fox with impeccable style. If so, you’ve just met the mascot of the Prairie Fire: Blaze! 

Blaze has been Knox’s mascot since 2016. You’ll see them at most athletic events cheering on the Prairie Fire, as well as Homecoming, campus events like Flunk Day and Knox Proud Day, and much more. Next time you come across Blaze, be sure to stop and grab a selfie! You might even end up on our TikTok, where they make frequent appearances. 

For those wanting to rep Blaze all over campus, you can find many items in the Knox Shop featuring the Blaze logo.
