Knox College students have a wide variety of options to stay active and maintain physical wellness.
From live-action role-playing to fencing, many student-led club sports offer a chance to get in a workout while honing that competitive edge.
For those looking to join a less competitive club, dance squad, yoga, and more offer a communal space to practice physical arts. And, for those in the habit of keeping up a workout routine, the E. & L. Andrew Fitness Center is open every day of the week.
One favorite on campus is Ultimate Frisbee
Being involved with Ultimate Frisbee was really by chance. My RA was on the team and wanted to get every one of his residents to at least one practice. So, I went and I saw people that looked like me…maybe not a traditional athlete. The players were very much teaching us what to do. It was fun. And, now we’ve been to nationals the last two years. It’s technically a club sport and completely student-run and fundraised. I love it. - Brooke traveled with the team to the National Ultimate Frisbee competition the past two years.
