What is Union Board?

The Knox College Union Board serves as the event planning organization on campus. Membership consists of Knox students. The organization is made up of six committees; Community and Games, Excursions, Comedy and Entertainment, Music and Expressions, Public Relations, and Special Events. Each committee puts on events throughout the term.

We're also famous for Flunk Day! Flunk Day is a Knox College tradition. One day each Spring Term, all classes are canceled and Knox is awakened early in the morning to celebrate all day! The Special Events Coordinator of Union Board selects a small committee of students to help plan Flunk Day in secret. They and the Union Board advisor plan a wonderful day full of activities, giveaways, and food for everyone to enjoy. The day is top secret, so if you want to guess which day it is, you'd better pay close attention to what's going on on campus.

You can find us on Instagram @knoxcollegeub and Facebook @KnoxCollegeUB. You can also send us an email at knoxcollegeub@knox.edu.
