The Knox College Chamber Singers is the flagship vocal ensemble of Knox College. A mixed (SATB) choir of sixteen voices, Chamber Singers is an elite subset of the larger Knox College Choir. The members of Chamber Singers perform a more substantial repertoire than does the KCC, and perform more often — not only on Knox College Choir concerts, where they sing their own set in addition to the music of the full chorus, but also around the city and at official College functions.
Students in the Chamber Singers are not only accomplished musicians but accomplished learners. They use each rehearsal to improve their musicianship skills, allowing them to tackle music that presents a wide variety of challenges, and gives a wide array of rewards in return.
If you’re interested in the Chamber Singers, sign up for an audition with the KCC today, and mark your interest in the KCCS! Please don’t hesitate to email our Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Bram Wayman, with any questions.
