National Girls and Women in Sports Day

February 7 marks National Girls and Women in Sports Day and Knox will be celebrating! Girls and women in sports are invited to Play Fair in the T. Fleming Fieldhouse from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, to receive a certificate of attendance and free gift. Knox women student-athletes will also be on hand, with games and instruction.

At 7:30 pm, in time for tip off of the women's basketball game versus Grinnell College, all women and girls in attendance will be asked to form a tunnel for the Knox players to run through as they take the court. At half-time we all women and girls are invited to center court for recognition and appreciation. We will also honor our Midwest Conference Champion Men's and Women's Soccer teams.

There will be a designated seating section in Memorial Gym for women and girls in sports and our Women’s Soccer players will be signing autographed photos of their championship  2017 team. Those attending are encouraged to wear team gear or other attire representative of their sport.
