Join us for a quick-chat with the YWCA to learn about internships and volunteer opportunities, to advocate, empower, and provide help for sexual assault survivors. Registration through Handshake is required. The YWCA Metropolitan Chicago is the largest Rape Crisis Center in Illinois. We provide free crisis intervention, medical and legal advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and their non-offending significant others.

Locations: The YWCA has 8 centers located throughout greater Chicago: Chicago-Englewood, Chicago-Logan Square, Chicago-Loop, Chicago-North Lawndale, Chicago-West Loop, Chicago-Woodlawn South Suburban, -Chicago Heights West Suburban-Addison

We are always seeking Volunteer for our 24hr Crisis Hotline, Text to Chat, and Medical Advocacy. We’ll be accepting new interns for our clinical and non-clinical programs with-in Sexual Violence Support Services. There are currently some internship opportunities open now for our Text to Chat, and Volunteer Recruitment. Text to Chat must be bi-lingual.
