Hello! My name is Kiely Thompson. I'd love to talk with you about my Knox experience.
My favorite spot on campus:
The SMC atrium. I love studying under the whale and the general atmosphere.
Professor a new student should absolutely take a class with:
Hilary Lehmann because she is a super fun professor. She creates a super engaging and positive environment that made class so much fun and a place I really wanted to participate in!
How I chose my major:
I have not fully declared my Chemistry major yet, but I have loved chemistry since highschool and I had so much fun in my chemistry class this past year!
My most challenging class so far:
The most challenging class I have done so far was my Equilibrium and Analytical Chemistry. It was my first 200 level Chemistry class, so the labs were a lot harder than I was used. I put in a lot of hard work and I had so much fun. Now I'm taking Organic Chemistry this fall!
What are some surprisingly cool things about Galesburg?
Galesburg has some cute restaurants and fun little coffee shops that are fun to go to with friends.
