If you are not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and will require a visa to study in the U.S., you should apply as an international student. (Undocumented immigrants residing in the U.S. should apply as First-Year Applicants.) If you are applying as a transfer student from another university, you should apply as a Transfer Applicant.
