A religious studies minor complements a variety of different disciplines, including history, philosophy, psychology, languages, literature, international relations, and more. It is also a foundation for personal study and exploration that can become an important part of one's life outside a chosen occupation. Graduates in religious studies have pursued a wide variety of careers in fields such as law, ministry, higher education, psychotherapy, and medicine. In a complex world filled with religious and political strife, a minor in religious studies can be the foundation for a tolerant and sensitive understanding of religious diversity.
