Sex Ed Science Fair Program 2021-2022

Berries on a campus tree.

The Sex Ed Science Fair is an annual fall term event hosted by the Dare to Care Peer Educators with the goal of making sex education more fun and interactive. We recognize that many of Knox’s students may not have had a fully informative and/or helpful experience with sex ed. For this reason, the aim of this event is to equip Knox students with a baseline knowledge of all sorts of topics surrounding sex education without the awkwardness that normally accompanies sexual education. The Sex Ed Science Fair is an exciting chance to come together and learn more about topics such as menstruation, STDs and STIs, contraceptive options, gender confirming care, sex toys, and so much more, through demonstrations, item samples, and lots of exciting conversation.

The Sex Ed ‘Mad’ Science Fair from the 2021-22 academic year was a hit! Check out some of our highlight photos, the information we shared, our featured booths, or see how many condoms ended up being in the condom jar here.
