The Fall Jazz Series aims to bring dynamic jazz voices from the region to Galesburg.  Throughout Fall term, different guest artists will hold workshops/conversations with the attendees at the Galesburg Community Arts Center followed by performance at Jazz Night with the Cherry St Combo. Bring your dinner or order carry-out and join us!

Jake Hawrylak is a multi-instrumentalist currently based in Chicago. An indemand performer, educator and producer he will discuss “How to manufacture discomfort and what we can learn from it”

Corey Kendrick

Corey Kendrick is a pianist, composer, recording artist, and educator currently living in Davenport, IA. Kendrick is Director of Instrumental Music at Black Hawk College in Moline, IL. Corey will discuss “How to get (and keep) the gig.”
