The Kleine Center for Community Service manages a wide range of engagement opportunities, including volunteer service, charitable activities, and community outreach designed for students, faculty, and staff at Knox College.

Upcoming Events

The Winter Term Service Fair will take place on January 12th from 4:30 - 6:30pm in the Trustees' Room in Alumni Hall. It's a great opportunity for on campus service groups as well as local community partners to recruit volunteers for the coming term!

Winter Term Volunteer Opportunties

A variety of term long volunteer placements are available to students. Our community partners for this term include the Knox County YMCA, the Reading Buddies program at Neilson Elementary School, Knox Prairie Community Kitchen, Galesburg Public Library, Prairie Players Civic Theater, and Food Recovery Network. The Winter Term Menu has all of the links to Sign Up Genius.

*volunteer placements with kids will require this DCFS certification- get a head start on fall paperwork and do it now!
